Welcome to the Twin Cities American Legion Post 313
We are now all training our brains to write 2026! I remember in my childhood wondering if anything from the George Orwell novel Nineteen Eighty-Four would actually come true. It seemed to me so far into the future and now it is ancient history. Time flies whether or not you are having fun.
I hope all of you had a peaceful holiday season. One of my resolutions for this year is to go down the list of names on our roster and call each of you between now Easter. I would like to get to know you a bit more than as a name on a roster.
Several of our members are here every Monday and Thursday morning from about 8:45 to 9:30 hoping some of our members who have been away for a while will join us for coffee, pastries and friendly banter. In fact, a few of you have started to join our gathering, making the conversation even more interesting.
The Post activity that draws the most enthusiastic crowd is our second-Saturday-of-the-month $5 full breakfast. It’s the best deal around and the spaces get filled quickly. It is highly recommended that you put in your reservations and arrive ahead of time to assure your place among your friends. Chow line opens at 9:00 sharp. We have our Board meetings on the second Monday of the month at 9:00 in the club room. You are welcome to sit in if you are curious to see what we’re about. We look forward to getting to know you.

5:30-7:30 Ragtime era piano ragtime and early jazz and blues
7:30 - 9:00 Zenith Jazz Band, a 7 piece band playing tunes from the 1920s for listening and dancing.
